I have used Botox and fillers plus in the past, I have had problems with broken capillaries. Luckily, not now
And I have minimal facial scars.
Can I still use this device?
    Will it work on
    *my marionette lines
    •my sagging jaw
    •Lines under my nose
*vertical Lines around my mouth, even though I’ve never smoked
    *brow lines

Please send me information about these issues.
    Thank you

    Linda Rowe

You should be able to use this device as long as you haven’t had any injections done recently, I would double check on their official site to confirm. The RF technology behind this device should help improve the appearances of lines, however it may take a while to notice a difference, and even then it may not be significant. This is just based on my own experience. As for sagging jaw, I do notice some tightening with my jawline, so I think you should see some improvement as well, but don’t expect anything drastic.

  2. Chabsboth says:

Hello! Can you please give an update on the Ussera medi cube results now that you’ve had 6 months or so of usage?

    • Jenny says:

Hi Chabsboth, I’ve just updated the post with my 6-month results, but I did notice some plumping of the area below my cheekbones, and my face looks less sunken! No changes in smile lines or pore size though.

  3. Sunny says:

I love this device for firmness, and have only used it about 4 times, but I’ve noticed that it’s making some of my melasma marks darker. Is this just the bring it to the surface and shed the pigment process or I wonder if is it actually making my melasma worse? Thoughts?

    • Sylvie says:

Hi Sunny, I was just wondering if your issue with melanoma getting darker has been resolved? I just purchased the age r deep shot device and I also have mild case of melasma. I don’t want it to get worse.
      Thank you so much!

    • Jenny says:

I’m not sure about RF bringing melasma to the surface, but I do know that Tripollar warns against using their device against darker skin tones possibly due to hyperpigmentation issues. However Tripollar also feels much stronger imo, and that could be why they included the warning. I would check directly with Medicube to confirm, but personally I haven’t noticed any issues with my melasma from using the device.

Why is there no use on the forehead? Those are where my deepest wrinkles are… like… they’ve been there since birth!

    • Jenny says:

This is based on the instructions from Medicube, but you can definitely use it on your forehead as well! Just keep in mind the forehead will be more sensitive since there’s less fat!

  5. SNguyen says:

I recently purchased the Deep Shot (and used your discount code!) – my main question is, why should it not be used over the Adam’s apple and thyroid? I have searched extensively online, and cannot seem to find the rationale why. Any input?

    • Jenny says:

All the treatments I’ve come across, whether it’s microcurrent, ultrasound therapy, or RF recommends avoiding this area and here are the reasons I’ve seen: 1) no studies done to show it was safe (and vice versa, so it’s an unknown)
      2) there’s a cartilage near our thyroid that can make the treatment more painful
      3) fear that the energy from the treatment can impact the thyroid’s hormone production (an assumption only because of lack of studies)
Hope this helps and I hope you’ll like the device too!

  6. Priscilla says:

Hi! I’m considering between these 2 devices :) If u could only choose one, which one would u choose?

    • Jenny says:

Oh gosh this is a tough question! Personally I’m able to commit the extra time and don’t mind the warmness of the Tripollar, so that would be my pick!

  7. Anne says:

I have the same device, but haven’t used it for long enough to judge the results. It is definitely easy and quick to use though.

  8. Linda says:

Thanks for you excellent review. I have the Nuface Trinity…recently purchased.
Have you used this and what do you thing?….thanks! Linda

    • Sophia says:

@Jenny, hi do u recommend the tripollar or ussera?

      • Jenny says:

It really depends on your budget, pain tolerance, and commitment level! If you’re ok with slower results and have a busy schedule/tight budget, the Ussera would be better. If you’re committed to spending more time and don’t mind the warmer temperatures, Tripollar will deliver quicker results!

    • Jenny says:

I use the Nuface Trinity eyes/lips attachment daily! I did alternate the regular attachment with my Tripollar previously but took a break to test the FOREO Bear and Medicube.
